Depression Treatment Workshop
Basic Steps Mental Health is conducting another Zoom Meeting to help people get through the difficulties in their life through self-help tools. A little knowledge can go a long way, a lot of knowledge can help you thrive. Our program teaches people the Spiritual Psychology approach. No, it is not some voodoo, but a clinical approach that mixes and matches 10 of the top Psychological approaches to treat a problem at its root.
A thank you to all that attended our last Zoom meeting. It was our best ever and our hope is to even surpass that one.
As winter closes in, and daylight is diminishing, It is natural for people to become depressed at this time of the year. Add on the holidays and the memories from the past, or difficulties with current relationships can spell doom to many in these times of COVID-19 – which adds on to the stress.
If you are irritable, isolating, sad, feeling helpless, hopeless, and worthless, please muster up the strength to attend this workshop on how to learn how to overcome these feelings and become stable.
Saturday, November 7th from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm Basic Steps Mental Health is putting on a free workshop on using Spiritual Psychology to address the root of the problem in a compassionate and sometimes playful way.
In making believe that all the difficulties from your past are just going to disappear after you sleep on it, there is good and bad news. The bad news is this isn’t the way to heal, only the way to push it down into the subconscious mind where it plays out in dreams or gets easily triggered when people in your life act in certain ways. The good news is there are lots of psychological approaches you can use on yourself to address the ancient wounds and heal by your own efforts.
There will be a talk on Forgiveness of others as a spiritual bypass in which we bypass the healing in not addressing the issue the proper way.
Sign up early, since it is a free workshop. Contact your family and friends because it will give you something different to talk about, something that is healing and uplifting. This is a new psychology, a psychology of hope. Let others who you care about know about this too, so they too don’t suffer needlessly anymore.
Reserve a spot now. November 7th, 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. And it is free!
